SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN 10 AM TUESDAY MARCH 25TH!

STARBASE is a DoD youth STEM outreach program. The mission of Kansas STARBASE is to provide 21st Century experiential learning to students while supporting area schools in meeting or exceeding the National Standards in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

“STARBASE, was one of the field trips we went on. We did a lot of STEM and super cool experiments. After going to STARBASE, there are a lot of things in everyday life I will see differently. There probably won’t be a day pass by, that I won’t connect things I learned from STARBASE to my life.”
— Clare: Baldwin Elementary School Intermediate Center

DoD STARBASE focuses on elementary students, primarily fifth graders. The goal is to motivate them to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) as they continue their education. STARBASE serves students who are historically under-represented in STEM.

STARBASE is a 5-day program designed to deliver STEM specific curriculum that meets state and national standards. The program is delivered at each program site and at no-cost to the participating schools. Schools are responsible for any transportation costs.
